Legion thanks all its donors

"Turkeys and more" gobbled up at annual American Legion turkey raffle!

The wheel spun over 40 times, and almost everyone went home a winner after the annual Turkey and More Raffle at the Fox River-Geneva American Legion Post 75 recently.

Our community businesses outdid themselves with providing donations to support our veterans. Certificates were provided by: Isabella's, Corner Bakery, California Pizza Kitchen, Colonial Café, Noodles & Co., Savannah Rose, Sweet Tooth, Grahams, Assembly Line Toys, Josef's Deli, Egg Harbor Café, The Little Traveler, The Perfect Setting, Kernel Fabyan's, Anastazia, Caccoon, Baubles, Wildwood, Sergio's Cantina, The Little Owl Pub, Urban Grille, Orlando's Pizza, Old Towne Pub, State Street Jewelers, Foxfire, Geneva Cleaners, Chianti's, Ace Hardware, Target, Merritt King, Gingerroot, Salerno's, My Salon, Thomas Dillon of Konicek & Dillon, Serenity Jewelers, The Fashion Walk on Third, Odalisque Beauty, The Dreamwear Shop and Luv the Name. A special thank you goes out to Sergio's Cantina for also providing quesadillas, chips and salsa for the evening.

This annual event was truly a success, thanks to all of our contributors and attendees. Thanks to you, our post raised much needed funds for veterans services and local high school scholarships.
