Don't put all the blame on Bush

I can no longer stand by and listen to you people bash President George W. Bush over and over and over again. The man did not come into office looking to start a war. In fact, most of the 2000 campaigns, on both sides, focused on domestic issues.

The only defense initiative that President Bush had was to increase spending for the military to upgrade our aging weapons systems, increase the size of the military after massive cuts by the Clinton Administration, and develop a working missile defense.

Afghanistan was a success. The Taliban was pushed back to their original home, along with al-Qaida, in the mountains of Pakistan.

As for Iraq, President Bush did not invade Iraq. The United States of America invaded Iraq. There where terrorist groups operating in Iraq, including al-Qaida. President Bush did not lie, report after report have shown the administration did not influence intelligence agencies.

God bless the Iraqis who finally put the fear aside and stood up. God bless President Bush who finally defended this country. God bless America. God bless our troops.
