Don't blame labor for ruining economy

The Nov. 7 Fence Post seems to have some conservatives crying like little school girls in plaid dresses.

The crux of their whining is their fear of wealth redistribution by an Obama administration with a (yes, the dreaded "s" word) socialistic bent.

We American workers have just endured more than seven years of massive transfers of wealth from the Federal Government and from American workers' paychecks, retirement plans, health care, and even their safety (FDA, EPA, and trade agreements allowing dangerous food, toys etc. to be sold in the U.S.)

Yes, we have endured all these years of trickle-up fiscal policies to make the rich even richer; while the worker sank lower and lower on the economic ladder. Most of the rich folks in the U.S. did not earn their wealth. Their employees generated that wealth.

So wealthy conservatives, I suggest you take out a few $100 bills, soak them in fabric softener, blow dry them with your hair dryer; then daub your puffy, red, teary eyes with them; as you tremble in fear of that great socialistic boogeyman.

The U.S. workers did not ruin our economy. Greedy financial industry executives in cahoots with a Bush government brought our country to its knees.
