Children are our hope for future

During this especially meaningful time of year, DuPage Children's Museum would like to give its sincere, heartfelt thanks to the more than 500 volunteers who make a difference every day in the lives of the children who visit us and to the generous donors who protect our financial well-being so that today's children can be "Tomorrow's Stars."

Nurturing a new generation of creative problem solvers is the essence of our everyday work with children and families. There's no question that in an ever-changing world, the one thing that remains constant is our children's need to be creative, curious, resourceful, adaptable, and visionary. In fact, experts suggest that the way for children to be better prepared for future challenges is to teach them how to learn and problem-solve in their early years, especially through playful partnerships with the adults in their lives.

We are completed indebted to our volunteers for the time, energy and passion they share with the more than 300,000 people who visit DuPage Children's Museum each year. They perform invaluable services by helping as play facilitators on the museum floor, staffing events, repairing exhibits, facilitating programs, assisting with office activities, and so much more.

DuPage Children's Museum also depends on its donors, especially as we approach the end of the year. We humbly thank those who have continued to invest in our children especially during difficult economic times. Additionally, we encourage those who have benefited from our involvement in the lives of their children or grandchildren, or who simply understand that our community's children are our hope for the future, to pledge their support through our "Tomorrow's Stars" campaign.

To all those who give their volunteer and financial support, we are grateful for your generosity. You are all stars in our eyes.
