Senior Stroll's holiday potluck set for Dec. 4

There will be plenty of camaraderie, holiday spirit and good cheer at the Campbell House in Geneva when area seniors attend a holiday potluck.

The Kane County Forest Preserve District welcomes Senior Stroll participants, as well as anyone interested in the monthly program, to the event from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Dec. 4, at Campbell House, 33W848 Cherry Lane, Geneva. The entrance is off Kirk Road, next to Elfstrom Stadium. Those who attend should bring a dish to share.

Senior Stroll is a nature program open to anyone 50 or older. The group typically meets at alternating forest preserves for a leisurely hike on the first Thursday of each month. Upcoming strolls are planned for Glenwood Park Forest Preserve in Batavia in January and at Tekakwitha Woods in St. Charles in February.
