Church to present annual Festival of Nativities

Immanuel Lutheran Church will present its third annual Festival of Nativities from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6. The church is at 310 E. Main St., East Dundee.

The Nativity Walk is part of Dickens in Dundee. The church wants to share the true meaning of Christmas with local friends and neighbors. Be sure to stop by and see the more than 100 nativity displays.

Birthday Party for Jesus will be held at 1 p.m. for children ages 3 and older. Help celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. The attendees will listen to the story about the birth of Jesus, do a craft, play a game, eat cake, sing songs and receive a goody bag. Parents should plan to attend as our own births will be compared to the birth of Jesus. The children will have questions for you.

If you would like to bring a gift for Jesus on his birthday, you can bring canned goods. All items will be donated to the local F.I.S.H. Food Pantry.
