Why go green when we're in the red?

What in the world is our Gov. Blagojevich doing now? We have no money, and the state is in the red, but he wants to make green lanes on our highways. Are they not our highways?

I think traffic is bad enough around the Chicago area without our governor spending $400 million to make green lanes for multiple passengers. This is a ridiculous idea because most cars on the highway today are fuel-efficient, anyway.

I can think of one thing better to do with the $400 million he wants to waste on a stupid idea. What is that? Nothing.

We do not have the money, anyway, and if he wants to go green, let him try it with his family or his car, or his home, not my money.

I think if our government wants to go green, that is fine; only I do not want my green to go with them.
