Priest, columnist Greeley now in rehab
Best-selling novelist and newspaper columnist the Rev. Andrew Greeley is undergoing rehabilitation weeks after he fell and suffered a head injury.
A spokeswoman for the Roman Catholic scholar said Greeley is recovering at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.
On Nov. 7, Greeley fell and hit his head while exiting a cab. The injury caused bleeding on the brain. He was hospitalized at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge until Tuesday, when he was transferred to the Rehabilitation Institute.
Greeley has written more than 50 novels, including many international mystery thrillers. His Chicago Sun-Times column explores the relationship between religion and politics.
