Central Ill. teacher faces drug charges
LEROY _ A central Illinois high school teacher faces drug charges after police found cocaine in her pocket.
Twenty-seven-year-old Miki Aberle is an English teacher at LeRoy High School. She was charged with felony drug possession.
A police report says a cab driver who dropped off Aberle at her Normal home called police after witnessing a domestic dispute.
Authorities say Aberle allegedly did not cooperate with police when they arrived to investigate the dispute. Police said they then found the cocaine in her pocket.
LeRoy Superintendent Gary Tipsord did not offer any details, saying school officials don't comment on personnel issues.
Aberle, who is free on bail, is due in court next month.
