Thanks to sponsor of school event
Each year during American Education Week, the Geneva School District holds a leadership breakfast, to which key community leaders from government, service organizations, and businesses are invited. For the sixth year, American Bank and Trust Company, 1542 S. Randall Road, sponsored the leadership breakfast.
During American Education Week, Nov. 16-22, many activities that offer opportunities for community interaction and celebration were planned in all of Geneva District 304's schools.
The week provides an opportunity to acknowledge the long-standing tradition of excellence that has existed in the Geneva schools for decades. It is also a time when leaders in the community gather to network and support partnership relationships that exist with the school district and its students.
In these times of state and federal funding reductions for schools, the school community would not be able to continue to hold events such as the American Education Week Leadership Breakfast without sponsorships such as this. Therefore, the partnership with American Bank and Trust will allow the leadership community in Geneva to continue to foster and celebrate educational excellence.
