The media's love affair with Obama

It's really nice to see the media's veneration of Barack Obama, but talking about his visit to see George Bush in the White House or to which school he and his wife are sending their children becomes rather mundane for the Second Coming.

When are we going to see him walking across Lake Michigan or raising someone from the dead like Lazarus?

I mean the media has created a deity of an ordinary man that is more like the hype they provided with the First Coming of James Earl Carter in 1976.

Everyone knows how successful he was.
