Tour • Autumn Garden Strolls of Millennium Park's Lurie Garden continue at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, and at 12:15 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 10. Meet at the "Cloud Gate" sculpture for this free guided tour. millenniumpark.org. Click on park events, then tours.

Chicago Botanic Garden

• An evening "Owl Prowl" walk led by Jerry Gardener on the botanic garden grounds is from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24. Cost is $37. Registration required.

• The Wonderland Express featuring holiday horticultural displays and more begins Friday, Nov. 28, and continues through Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily (holiday hours differ). Admission costs $10; $8 for seniors and ages 3 to 12.

• A library exhibition on plants and gardens in children's storybooks begins Friday, Nov. 28, and continues through Sunday, Feb. 1.

Morton Arboretum

• Decorate trees naturally with items winter animals can eat in the Children's Garden from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29.

• The multilevel model "Holiday Railroad" starts its journey in the Visitor Center starting Friday, Nov. 28, and continues from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. most days until Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009.
