Club to offer a 'Reel' Thanksgiving dinner

Reel Club, at 272 Oak Brook Center Drive in Oak Brook, offers a special Thanksgiving menu from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 27. Guests can dig into Thanksgiving favorites including hand-carved Niman Ranch ham, roasted Vermont turkey, Idaho mashed potatoes, baked organic acorn squash, sweet potato casserole and pumpkin pie with whipped cream.

The menu includes cream of chestnut soup with smoked bacon, country salad with confit duck leg, pickled pumpkin, potatoes and egg. Main dishes include turkey breast and leg stuffed with Virginia ham, roast prime rib of beef or Cajun blackened salmon. Sides include a cornbread dressing and green bean casserole.
