Hewlett-Packard says 4th-quarter sales up $33.6 billion
Hewlett-Packard Co., the world's biggest personal computer maker, said fourth-quarter sales climbed to $33.6 billion.
Net income climbed to 84 cents a share, the Palo Alto, California-based company said today in releasing preliminary results. Excluding some items, profit was $1.03 a share, compared with the $1 average of estimates compiled by Bloomberg.
