Obama's election is a tragedy for nation
The Daily Herald suggested that you take an extra copy of the Nov. 5 paper to save, as this paper commemorates a historic event, the election of Barack Obama as president of the United States.
I do think it would fit in right alongside the archived paper from Dec. 8, 1941 telling of the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor.
Both papers tell of a tragic event in United States history. To use the words of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, "a day that will live in infamy," we have an apt description of both events.
In the providence of our sovereign God, this nation survived the attack by the Japanese; it is doubtful that it can survive Obama and remain a free Republic.
Obama's policies more closely follow the teachings of Marx, Stalin and Hitler than that of our constitution.
Our nation is ripe for God's judgment having turned its back on the Biblical foundations of or law system; judgment seems to have come in earnest.
