Foreclosure victims have enough trouble
I'm commenting on the article in the Daily Herald from Oct. 23, regarding the parking lot along Sigwalt Street south of the village hall. It stated that the village would be spending $28,270 to landscape and irrigate the parking lot.
Why not use that money to cut the grass and trim the bushes on the homes in "foreclosure" instead of charging those people $250 to cut the grass and trim the bushes. That would be the "Good Samaritan" way of doing things. Have a heart for those poor people!
