Is Bush economics assault on unions?
Now I understand President Bush's automaker bailout resistance. Now I get it.
George W. Bush and other conservatives are being very reticent about extending the bailout to the automakers.
According to the rationale of many Bush supporters, the unions and their contracts are very problematic.
Could it be that they want the automakers to go belly up so they can shake off the unions, reorganize and go forward unencumbered by pesky labor demands and regulations?
