Buffalo Grove

• Burglars stole $120 out of a wallet in an unlocked 1999 Volvo on the 600 block of Wyngate Lane overnight Nov. 10-11.

• Samuel Arthur Stanciel, 18, 1443 Lenox Court, Wheeling, was arrested around 3 a.m. Nov. 9 on the 100 block of Glendale Road and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of drugs, resisting a peace officer and traffic violations. His court date is Dec. 31.

• Vandals shot out two windows with BBs about a month ago and a third window two weeks ago, at an office building belonging to Hamilton Partners at 750 Lake-Cook Road. Damage was estimated at $3,900.

Wheeling

• Lukasz D. Wicha, 24, 662 E. Independence Drive. Apt. 5, Palatine, was arrested around 2:25 a.m. Nov. 7 on the 400 block of North Wolf Road and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of alcohol and a traffic violation. His court date is Dec. 16.

• A white 1992 Chevrolet van worth about $3,000 was stolen from a business at 2039A Foster Ave. between 8 p.m. Nov. 6 and 8 a.m. Nov. 7. Chicago officers found the van Nov. 11 on the 4400 block of North Central Avenue.

• Two men stole two GPS units from Ace Hardware, 755 W. Dundee Road, between 4:15 and 4:30 p.m. Nov. 11. The units were worth $341.

• Two vehicles parked at the Metra station, 100 S. Northgate Parkway, were broken into between 6 a.m. and 5:25 p.m. Nov. 11. A GPS unit and MP3 player were taken out of a 2007 GMC Acadia; an MP3 player and charger were taken out of a 2001 Toyota Camry. Total value was estimated at $730.

• Vandals cracked the front glass door at an apartment building on the 200 block of Seventh Street between 7 p.m. Nov. 10 and 7 a.m. Nov. 11. Damage was estimated at $500.
