Candidate thanks voters for support

This is an open letter of thanks to all of the people in the 1st District who heard my message of hope.

We came very close to changing the way that business is done in our community and there are 7,549 disappointed voters in the first district. Linda Pedersen said, "This is not just a victory for me, it's a victory for all of my friends." I truly hope that she does not forget about us.

I cannot tell you how much I wanted to address the issues that the residents of the district told me about over and over again.

Even though I did not win the election that does not mean that we cannot still take steps to improve our community. I want all of my supporters to know that this is not the end but the beginning. I truly believe that our voices were heard. This is how democracy is supposed to work and I believe that it worked perfectly. I will continue working to make things better for you and everyone in the entire 1st District.
