Chicago woman charged with kidnapping girl

A 44-year-old Chicago woman has been charged with kidnapping after a 3-year-old girl was captured on tape being led away from a Northwest Side store.

Chicago police say Jeanette Roldan was arrested Monday, just after Sana Patel was found safe less than a mile away from the CVS Pharmacy where she was last seen.

Police say Roldan lives in the same Northwest Side neighborhood as the store. No one returned a message left at a telephone listing for Jeanette Roldan in Chicago on Tuesday.

Sana's parents reported her missing Monday after realizing she was no longer inside the pharmacy. A surveillance videotape shows the girl leaving the store and being led away by an unknown woman.

Roldan is scheduled to appear in bond court Wednesday morning.
