OfficeMax, Safeway form partnership
NAPERVILLE - OfficeMax Inc., an office products and services company, announced a partnership with Safeway Inc., a large food and drug retailer, to distribute office products and school supplies through approximately 1,600 Safeway grocery stores in the Western, Southwestern, Rocky Mountain, Midwestern and mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. In July, Safeway, which owns Chicago area Dominicks stores and has offices in Oak Brook, started carrying approximately 300 OfficeMax products in co-branded aisle displays, including seasonal promotional items and everyday school and office supplies. Product selections will include OfficeMax private label products such as TUL writing instruments and various grades of OfficeMax-brand papers.
Alternative Health Group expands
ELGIN - Alternative Health Group has expanded to Elgin. The company, focusing on Chinese medicine, acupuncture, Eastern nutrition counseling and Chinese bodywork, is located at Provena St. Joseph Hospital, 87 N. Airlite St. Suite 230 in Elgin. Owner Tim Suh continues to operate his office in Chicago as well at 1834 W. North Ave. Suite 1.
