End of racism? Nice idea but not reality
It surprises me when I hear or read stories saying that this election proves the end of racism. Who are they kidding? Over 95 percent of blacks voted for Obama. That, my friends, is racism. Blacks voted color, period. It was proved in many interviews across the country that a majority of blacks didn't know Obama's position on the issues, or even who his vice president nominee was. Collin Powell's and Oprah's endorsements of Obama are other glaring examples of racism. How many ultra liberal white democrats has Powell or Oprah ever endorsed before? The end of racism may be a happy thought, but we are a long way from it being a reality.
