NIU defeats Carthage 76-62

Darion Anderson scored 31 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for a double-double to lead Northern Illinois to a 76-62 win over Carthage in exhibition play.

Sean Kowal had 14 points and eight rebounds for the Huskies. Northern Illinois led 37-31 going into the break and came back to score 39 points in the second period.

Steve Djurickovic led Cathage with 20 points and two rebounds before he was fouled out of the game. Cody Hilton came off the bench to score 13 points.
