Learn about Centegra's weight-loss surgery program
A free information session about the Centegra Health System weight-loss surgery program is planned for Saturday, Nov. 8 at the new Centegra Health Center-Huntley. All of those struggling with obesity are encouraged to attend the session from 10 a.m. to noon in the second floor conference room.
Christy Drach, 34, Woodstock, said attending the free weight-loss surgery program educated her enough to proceed comfortably with a lap band surgery and it was the best decision of her life.
"I am more confident in myself. I feel better and have control of my weight, complete control, for the first time in my life," Drach said.
She added that she's lost more than 60 pounds in two years since her surgery.
Other success stories and expert advice from Centegra's clinical team and general surgeon Dr. Amir Heydari are presented during this free session. Also provided is a wealth of information about the benefits, multidisciplinary, surgery options and support available at Centegra.
The end of the session features video showcasing patients, as well as the opportunity to speak with former patients who are excited to share their success stories.
