L.L. Bean launches second area store

L.L. Bean's second suburban store is opening today at Westfield Old Orchard in Skokie. A grand opening celebration takes place through Sunday when the store will be open 24 hours a day, all weekend.

Refreshments, live music, activities and giveaways are part of the celebration.

The first L.L. Bean opened in mid-September at The Arboretum of South Barrington.
