Cook voters want recall power
The overwhelming majority of Cook County voters on Tuesday voted in favor of amending the state constitution to allow for the recall of elected officials - including the governor.
With 2,130 of 2,290 precincts reporting, 60 percent favored the amendment while 40 percent did not. The referendum was advisory.
