Man convicted in wife's death sentenced
URBANA _ A man convicted of killing his estranged wife and burying her body in the woods has been sentenced to 65 years in prison.
Thirty-nine-year-old Robert Arnette was found guilty of first-degree murder and concealing a homicidal death in August.
On Monday a Champaign County judge sentenced Arnette to 60 years in prison for the death of Naomi Arnette and another five years for hiding her body.
Naomi Arnette, a mother of seven, was reported missing in May 2007.
Four months later volunteer searchers found her body in a wooded area a few miles from her home in Sadorus, about ten miles southwest of Champaign.
