Candidates should buy American goods
Those who believe in "Country First" should practice what they preach.
It is beyond hypocritical for the Republican candidates to tout "Country First," yet they buy their campaign wardrobes from elite European manufacturers like Armani, Valentino (Mrs. Palin) and Ferragamo (Mr. McCain).
They should buy American. Mr. Obama buys his suits (with his own money) from an American manufacturer, Hickey Freeman, and Mrs. Obama's clothes often come from a Chicago designer.
If we want America to prosper, buy American products. It can be done.
Stop with foreign-made cars. Seek out stores that sell American products and buy those products. Put your money to work in our country, not in Europe or Asia.
That is one way to put your country first.
