Birkett taken to task for funding stance

Regarding your article, "DuPage Democrats urge election attorney's ouster..." I am greatly relieved that DuPage County State's Attorney Joseph Birkett said it's "not illegal or unethical to work for the election commission and contribute to political campaigns." Birkett can keep that $17,500 contributed to him by Pat Bond, attorney for the DuPage County Election Commission. Phew!
