Wintermute provides best leadership

When we watch television or listen to the radio, we hear chants of 'change' when it comes to the presidential race. More often than not, voters concern themselves with federal races; however we must concern ourselves with a race that is a little closer to home.

I have worked with Terri on local development in our area and she is dedicated to our area and to the people who live and work in our area and who are affected by the decisions of the Illinois Legislature. She will be an important voice in the State Senate.

With this in mind, I'm writing to give an enthusiastic endorsement to Terri Ann Wintermute, Republican Candidate 42nd Senate District. Terri will be a key voice for change on two critical issues: education and economic development.

As a mother and grandmother, Terri is greatly concerned with education and she is deeply worried about the future of our local schools for her grandchildren. She understands that children are the future of our nation and we must provide quality education without overburdening the local taxpayers. Terri will ensure that the schools of the 42nd Senate District will get their fair share of state funds.

As a business owner and former economic development coordinator, Terri also knows what it takes to keep and attract business to the Western suburbs. It is imperative that we have an economic-minded person in Springfield, to help make our region more competitive with Northwestern Indiana and Wisconsin.

Terri Ann Wintermute will be our independent voice for change in Springfield to advocate for the two most pressing issues in our region: education and economic development. I strongly encourage you to cast your vote on Nov. 4th for Terri Ann Wintermute to be the next 42nd District State Senator.
