It's time to vote out every incumbent

In recent elections, voter turnout has been very apathetic. If you don't exercise your right to vote, you effectively surrender your right to complain.

So what's your excuse for not voting?

We get the government we deserve. Our current government is dysfunctional.

At all levels elected officials have failed us, the people who elected them. They have neglected their duties and ignored or changed our laws to suit their own needs.

They have allowed issues to go unresolved in the hopes a new one will take center stage and we'll forget about the old.

They want to spend money they don't have to please the people who will re-elect them and tax the rest of us to pay for it all.

Gross mismanagement, staggering incompetence, waste, nepotism, corruption, patronage and cronyism are commonplace.

What have they done to solve our most pressing issues? What have they done about Immigration laws? Health care? Energy prices? Social security? Foreign policy? Budgets? Infrastructure? Unemployment? Tax Increases?

And last but not least the monumental collapse of our economy?

The people we've elected to solve these problems have done nothing. Oh wait, they did investigate steroidal use in baseball. Enough is enough!

The best way to take back our country from these thieving liars is to vote all incumbents out of office. All of them.

And if the new people don't get the job done, we'll vote them out too.

No more free rides and no more career politicians unless they are doing the job they promised us they would.

And speaking of you, politicians, I don't want to hear what the other guy did or didn't do.

I want to hear what you've done or plan to do. It's time for your performance review. Your job's on the line.
