Tink's back with some fairy friends

"Tinker Bell"

Grandparents, parents and kids will enjoy this direct-to-video program that stars one of Walt Disney's most beloved characters.

Tinker Bell was first introduced in films with the 1953 release of "Peter Pan." Here, she speaks for the first time, as we are led into the world of fairies at Pixie Hollow. Fairies help nature along, and Tinker Bell has a special talent that, within time, is there for everyone to see. The animation is terrific and very lifelike, and there is a wonderful morale to the story.

The voice cast includes America Ferrera, Kristin Chenoweth, Raven Symone, Lucy Liu, Jesse McCartney and Mae Whitman. The music is original and the DVD is full of bonus features.

"Journey to the Center of the Earth"

Fans of the Jules Verne book and films will enjoy this roller-coaster ride of a movie.

Research scientist Trevor Anderson (Brendan Fraser) and his nephew Sean (Josh Hutcherson) go to Iceland when the professor discovers new volcanic evidence. With their mountain guide Hannah (Anita Briem), they discover tunnels that lead them beneath the earth's surface. The adventure really takes off as they see a prehistoric world filled with dinosaurs, people-eating plants, giant piranhas and other disasters waiting to happen. It's a thrill a minute as they must find a way to escape. New technology allows the special effects in the film to work.

"Animal House: 30th Anniversary Edition"

One of the classic comedies of all time is now available is this two-disc special edition.

John Landis' film introduced great characters while focusing on the Delta House fraternity at Faber College. The special edition includes a new digital transfer, two new mini-game experiences, a new documentary with cast and crew interviews and an "Animal House" reunion that includes behind-the-scenes footage and clips of John Belushi.

"The Outer Limits Complete Original Box Set"

The writing was terrific, and some of the actors who appeared are William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Mary Tyler Moore, Ed Asner, David McCallum, Martin Landau and Robert Duvall.
