Please, no tricks with yard signs

Residents display the signs of the candidates they support on Election Day. What bothers me is when candidates decide to put up signs on properties through misinformation.

Recently I spoke to a volunteer delivering yard signs for Ruth Munson and was told that she was the Democratic candidate for state representative, so I agreed to put one in my yard. I found out a couple of weeks later when the real Democratic candidate, Keith Farnham, personally knocked on my door.

These are the kind of political games that get people upset with candidates. They or their help will tell you whatever they want to get you to vote for them.

I know it is that time of year, but if I am going to put a sign on my lawn, I am going to display one of a candidate that I support and more importantly one that tells the truth.
