Judge Golden is best qualified

The premise that lawyers are supporting a judicial candidate to gain favors is not valid and denigrates the law profession and the people who are lawyers. It is a feeble attempt to make an issue out of a nonissue.

Lawyers are supporting the best candidate for the 16th subcircuit judicial seat, Judge Patricia Piper Golden, not because they want to gain favors, but to ensure that their clients have the best chance for a fair and complete trial.

Lawyers who have actually tried a case know that their clients need to have the most competent judge to hear their case. Judge Golden has been rated the best by the Kane County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.

Don't be fooled by this nonissue. We need the best qualified, honest candidate with the highest integrity. That candidate is Judge Patricia Piper Golden. I am a Democrat, not a lawyer and I'm supporting Judge Patricia Piper Golden.
