Geneva football tickets on sale Thursday

Geneva High School students can purchase one general-admission ticket for Saturday's football game during their lunch period Thursday.

The Vikings host Rolling Meadows at 4 p.m. in the first round of the Class 7A playoffs.

Parents of varsity football players, cheerleaders, and dance team and marching band members will have four tickets set aside in the same section they sat during the regular season. Parents can send money with their sons or daughters to pick up the tickets, or they can stop by the athletics office Thursday evening or Friday morning. Tickets not picked up by Friday at noon will be made available to the public.

From 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, the public can buy up to four tickets apiece at the school's athletics office, 416 McKinley Ave.

On game day, tickets will be sold in the athletics foyer from noon to 2 p.m., and at 3 p.m. at Burgess Field.

Tickets are $4. No passes of any type will be honored. Tickets for the central bleachers will designate a section but not an individual seat. All individual seats will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

The gates will open at 3 p.m. Any blankets or other forms of seat reservations will be removed before the gates being opened.
