Pet Rescue, religion and the Green Bible
It's a tragedy that an organization called "Pet Rescue" could be accused of mistreating dogs, cats and other helpless creatures. There is so much animal abuse transpiring on a daily basis, one would never think cruelty to animals would actualize at a humane society for animals.
It would also be apropos if Chicago's high-profile and in many instances bombastic religious leaders would denounce the evils that are being perpetrated against God's animal kingdom.
A new book called "The Green Bible" should be mandatory reading for all clergymen, animal shelter owners and people who claim to be Christians.
