Obama cannot bring country closer

What would we expect but that the Daily Herald would endorse Barack Obama? John McCain is an experienced leader and an honest man who has made contribution after contribution for this country.

Barack Obama is a totally unaccomplished individual. The fact that he has come under the tutelage of a corrupt Illinois political machine, socialist Saul Alinsky, Reverend Wright, terrorist Bill Ayers, etc., makes him a poor candidate. He claims that he didn't know about any of their positions yet his judgment is the sole reason that qualifies him to be president. The man has taken multiple positions on virtually every subject, is about to change the country to a socialistic enterprise, yet you believe this is the man we need.

As for the country, Barack Obama cannot bring the country closer by virtue of the fact that the right cannot accept a USA-hating socialist. As for me, I will hope that the country sees through the bias and does the right thing for the country and elect John McCain. Either way, I'm finished with the Herald and will no longer purchase the paper. The good news for you is that I also canceled my subscription to the Tribune.

The Herald is totally complicit in this attempt to change the country as evidenced by your bias reporting throughout the campaign. The Herald has absolutely no credibility. It's pretty clear why the newspaper business is in such trouble - and it's not because of the Internet, cable news or anything else. It's because newspapers are intellectually dishonest.
