Antioch police searching for armed robber
Police are searching for a man who used a gun to rob a fast-food restaurant in Antioch late Monday.
Police said employees of Kentucky Fried Chicken, 325 W. Route 173, were locking the door and leaving for the night when a lone gunman forced them back into the building at about 11:35 p.m. on Monday.
The robber displayed a gun, and after taking an undetermined amount of cash, he ran from the scene, police said.
The two employees were not hurt.
The robber is described as a black man between 25 and 35 years old.
This is the first armed robbery in the village of Antioch this year, police said.
