Vote Republican; U.S. depends on it
This has been a long and exhausting election season. I have followed most of the campaigns both national and local. I have been involved in the political process since 1967 as a committeeman, activist and twice elected Elgin Township Republican chairman.
This has been the craziest political season I have seen. We have a candidate running for president that openly enjoys Marxist friends and their ideas, practices Socialism, says he can reach across the aisle and has no record of doing so, is the strongest pro-abortion, anti-gun candidate and wants the largest tax increase in history. His solution is take the money from those that have earned it through hard work and give it to those that have not.
We have several candidates running as Democrats that could not succeed as Republican candidates, now running as Democrats because their qualifications weren't as good as other Republicans seeking the position. Seems as though the Democrats have the least qualified candidates and the public just accepts this sub standard.
I am proud to be a Republican, proud to be an American and proud to have served my country and my community and will continue to do so, scratching my head at this election but moving forward. Praying that the voters are smarter than the polls.
Please vote Republican as if America and our way of life depends on it.
