Munson deserves re-election in 43rd

I have known and worked with State Rep. Ruth Munson for almost 10 years. She genuinely cares about our community and has unselfishly given of herself and her time to make Elgin a better place for all of us and our families.

She is a self-starter that is not afraid to take on tough problems and issues. Since she has been in Springfield, she has worked to lower property taxes, improve school funding, keep the roads repaired and fight identify theft. Furthermore, as the founder of a small software development firm located in Elgin, she understands the economic challenges we all face in these uncertain times.

We also need Ruth in Springfield to help restore balance. Our government functions on checks and balances; check and balances between the branches of government and check and balances between the parties. Today, Springfield is dominated by one party and it is broken. The leaders in Springfield fight while our roads crumble the budget rages out of control and the economy declines.

We need Ruth Munson more that ever to help restore balance in Springfield.
