Man in custody for stabbing

Hanover Park police confirmed they have one person in custody following a stabbing Sunday at a Halloween USA store.

A fight broke out around 5:45 p.m. at the store, located at 7550 Barrington Road, resulting in an adult male and male teenager being stabbed, according to Deputy Chief David Webb. They remain in stable condition at area hospitals.

No charges have been filed in the incident, which police said involved more than three people. No additional details are being released while the investigation is ongoing.

A spokesman for Halloween USA said they're working with authorities and conducting their own investigation.
