Burglars hit Rolling Meadows homes

Rolling Meadows police believe five home burglaries that took place Saturday and one that occurred early Sunday are related, Sgt. Tony Gaspari of the Rolling Meadows Police Department said Monday.

"Investigators are still working on this today, but based on the times and locations, it's probable they are related," he said.

Police are looking into the following burglaries:

• Between 5 and 11 p.m. Saturday on the 2300 block of Forest Avenue, someone entered the home through the master bedroom window and ransacked the room. The family wasn't home at the time.

• 7:30 p.m. Saturday on the 3300 block of Freemont.

• 7:40 p.m. Saturday on the 3300 block of Fremont.

• 9:09 p.m. Saturday on the 3600 block of Fremont.

• 9:22 p.m. Saturday on the 2100 block of Robin.

• 9:45 p.m. Saturday on the 2100 block of Flicker.

• 12:10 a.m. Sunday on the 3500 block of Campbell.

More detailed reports on the burglaries were still being completed Monday.
