Mathias proven to be effective

Illinois State Rep. Sidney Mathias has proved to be an effective representative of the 53rd Legislative District. This is no time to elect someone, who by her negative campaigning, is attempting to smear the reputation of an accomplished member of our state government.

Everyone in the 53rd District should feel confident by voting for Sid's re-election they will continue to have an effective experienced representative working for our communities.

As a member of the Prospect Heights City Council, I have seen his dedication in working with our City and our neighboring communities, effectively gaining needed state resources. In rebuilding our City Hall, we were required to install an elevator and widen the stairways. Sid worked hard to get a $100,000 state grant to help defray this additional expense.

I support the re-election of Sidney Mathias as fervently as I want the Bears to continue winning.
