Sutherland leads PGA tourney

Kevin Sutherland shot an 8-under 63 on Saturday to take a 1-stroke lead over George McNeill after the third round of the Frys.com Open in Scottsdale, Ariz., the fifth of the PGA Tour's seven Fall Series events.
- Karen Stupples holed a 35-foot birdie chip on the final hole to take a 2-stroke lead in the rain-soaked Grand China Air in Haikou, China.
Jeff Sluman shot a 7-under 64 to take a 1-stroke lead in the Champions Tour AT&T Championship in San Antonio.
- Sergio Garcia shot a 5-under 66 to take a 4-stroke lead into the final round of the Castello Masters in Castellon, Spain.
