How much more can U.S. taxpayers take?

How much more is the American taxpayer going to take before we start holding our senators and congressional representatives accountable?

They vote to bail out the crooks on Wall Street and actually expect us to view them as our saviors.

The same inept career politicians who got us into this mess are still there and they fully expect to be re-elected.

This gives a whole new and sick meaning to the old saying, "The foxes are in charge of the hen house."

If we continue to elect these incumbent politicians, we have only ourselves to blame.

When we finally realize that the value of our homes, 401ks and stocks has plummeted and our long planned for retirement is in serious jeopardy, we may actually wake up and get smart enough to dump these parasites who always put both themselves and their political parties first.

Don't be duped into believing that they really care about us.

Oh, by the way, has anyone wondered why the mess has peaked at election time? Mmmm.
