Dundee Twp. to host moms program
The Dundee Township Public Library will host a program for mothers or mothers-to-be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 on how to manage the many demands on their time and energy while raising a family.
Beginning at 2 p.m. at the West Dundee Public Safety Center II, 100 Carrington Drive, Annemarie Husser, MA, LCPC, a licensed clinical professional counselor, and Michelle Kilbourne, MBA, will present a program dedicated to helping moms learn how to take time out to recharge their energy and balance their lives with its many challenges.
"Mothers need to learn how they can begin to nurture themselves and make self-renewal a part of their everyday life," said Husser, a resident of Carpentersville and mother of two young children.
The program, which is free and open to the public, will cover a variety of approaches and resources for physical, emotional, spiritual and mental care options for mothers. Registration is suggested at (847) 428-3661, ext. 308, or online at dundeelibrary.info.
