Lechner to sign book at Spring Hill Mall

If you are a Cubs fan, this is your story. At 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, Barnes & Noble at Spring Hill Mall welcomes Cubs author and fan extraordinaire Tammy Lechner for a book signing. "The Chicago Cubs: Our Team, Our Dream: A Cub's Fan's Journey into Baseball's Greatest Romance" is a passionate photo documentary highlighting 15 seasons with the Chicago Cubs - capturing the very heart and soul of the most devoted fans in the world and answering the question, Why do the Cubs remain so popular decade after decade?

Through compelling photography and enlightening text, both created by award-winning photojournalist and Cubs fan Tammy Lechner, you encounter the essence of a spirited commitment that has lived through one century and now continues its tradition in a new millennium.

This is a great opportunity for fans to swap Cubs stories with someone who "bleeds Cubby blue" like they do.
