Savings don't add up when gas is $3.50
In a distant land many moons ago, I once bought gasoline for 25 per gallon (read that as 24.9 per gallon). At $2.50 for ten gallons, a penny saved was not exciting, but it was a sop to the value conscious. With gas selling anywhere from $3 to $4.50 a gallon, a penny or two saved on a $70 gas bill is laughable! To me it is an "in your face" from the oil companies. Stop Tenth of a Cent Gas Pricing! If this were to become a shout instead of a whine, we might see the end of this damnable practice.
