How can Palin inspire Munson?

In a recent letter to voters, State Rep. Ruth Munson claims to be inspired by the speeches of vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and the Republican party.

The problem that I have with these comments is that the Republican Party is the party of the status quo. The Republican Party is the party of George W. Bush and John McCain who represent nothing more than more of the same. Because of them, we are in one of the worst financial crises that we've seen. Their policies have hurt our middle class families more than any other administration.

This is not the party we deserve to have representing us in Washington or in Springfield. If Republicans like Ruth Munson are inspired by the speeches of Gov. Palin, I am fearful of what that means for local residents.
