Why there's no winning in Iraq

A recent article by Howard Zinn encapsulated much of my own concern over our country's current approach to world affairs. Here are two ideas to consider.

Regarding the "war on terror," an obvious oxymoron, it helps to remember only a few extremists really want to destroy things, most of us want peace, and the current approach is akin to having a police chief bomb a whole neighborhood to stop one criminal. Also, there is no "winning in Iraq," because it is not our country.
